500cc MANX ENGINED NORTON

This machine was built my John Mossey Restorations in 1999. The engine was a brand new MOLNAR 500cc Manx unit fitted with an Alternater and a MK11 Concentric carb for easy starting and running. The belt drive and clutch are NEB supplied by Bob Newby Racing, gearbox is AMC. Ignition is electronic and the lighting system is 12 volt. The ignition system is fitted with advance and retard lever to aid easy starting and the engine has a lower compression than normal piston fitted so it can run on unleaded pump fuel. The road registered Norton wideline frame is fitted with Manx swinging arm,Manx front and rear wheels and Manx forks.
Both the Manx oil and petrol tanks are alloy as are the mudguards. The instruments are genuine Smiths chronometrics.
This beautiful bike has only been used for a few hundred miles and comes with a years Mot and Historic road tax.
It is extremely rare to find a road registered with full lighting set Manx for sale especially one that has been built to be user friendly as I can testify this one is.

Your chance to own a piece of road racings folklore and be able to use it on the road and/or track.
